The AWEC organization is a Michigan Non-profit organization taking proactive action for change in the lives of women and children. Our goal is to raise money through our marathon runner HOPE.

With your help, HOPE will cover 5,000,000 or more miles. Your $5 contribution will move her 5 miles closer to our goal. Please join this effort and help HOPE to achieve this milestone.

What your $5 will do

Your $5 donation will do the following:

• Move our “Marathon Runner” 5 miles forward by adding 5 dollars to our fund drive for the construction of the AWEC Village of Hope “Joe Dome” model Eco Village, and alternative housing projects in Africa and the Caribbean.

• Purchase wheelchairs for paraplegics

• Support diverse “micro enterprises” including small retail shops, street vending, artesian manufacturing, farming, poultry farming, and piggeries for the residents of the village.

• Our housing opportunities provide access to clean water, sanitation and lighting for disenfranchised women and children.

• Provide books and desks for our village schools

• Provide beds and medicine for our health clinics.

• Helps with sustaining these programs
